Night is the best time to give extra care for the health and appearance of our skin. At night we can apply more products a little heavier since these will be absorbed while we are asleep and while our skin regenerates. The main thing is to moisturize our face and apply some treatment according to our skin type if we need it.
Every night I follow this routine:
First, if I had makeup on, I start with a two-phase liquid makeup remover and a cotton ball to remove the mascara and eye shadow. Then, I clean my face with a cleansing gel that has tiny exfoliating particles. This gel does not dry my face nor is it greasy. Sometimes I exchange it for a glycerin soap if I need a deeper cleaning when I carry a heavier foundation. Other times I also combine it with a cleansing cream that helps me to eliminate makeup since it is a little oily.
Then, I spread a cotton ball with miscellar water all over my face. The one I use also has rose water and is moisturizing.
Later, I apply a cream of calendula and aloe that is special to fight acne scars and also moisturizes the skin. I only use it at night, so it can act while I sleep.
Finally, I apply some liquid coconut oil around the eyes, at the corners of the lips and in any other area that feels dry so that it can be absorbed throughout the night.
