Nice review there. Sounds like a different beer indeed. Was it kind of like a dessert beer?
I drank it with dinner. It still has a lot of porter characteristics.

Not at all. The chocolate malt and salt balance out the sweetness.
Now that looks like my style beer.
I highly recommend it! Pigeon Hill is an excellent brewery with many great beers.

Here is another The Garden Brewery beer from me. This one is a sweet and fruity beer called Mango Pils. Not my style of the beer, but I would recommend it to anyone who prefers refreshing fruity beers. If you intend to try it, hurry up, it is a limited batch!
