Today I had a funny story with a beer and so I wanted to tell it to you. During lunch time after I finished eating in my kitchen I heared a little hissing, it sounded like a water pipe wwith a hole in it. After searching a little bit I found it came from the cardboard of the english beers my brother offert me for christmas. In this box one can had a little hole on the bottom from which beer was coming out in a really tiny beam but with high presure. First when I took it out it completly sprayd against the wall and so I quickly put it in the sink. I then reallized the best way to safe the beer would be to turn it oupside down so that only gas would come out and then to drink it. Then when I opened the can there were still so much pressure in there that it again made a mess. Probably something has been a bit extra fermentating in the beer and created a lot of presure and then broke the can
And so I thought if I already have the can open, why shouldn't I do a post about it and show it to you. Here some picture of it:
Unfortunetly when I tried it I was a bit disgusted, in a warm state it wasn't very good. So I decided to put it back in the frigde for some time so it could get cool. So after waiting sometime I could enjoy this nice cold IPA during this beautiful sunny day and since today is holiday in Germany I didnn't even had to feel bad for drinking a beer at 2:30 pm.
The beer itself, from a little brewery in the south east of england, had a very fruity taste espacily the citrus aroma was standing out. Probably most of germans wouldn't even describe it as bear, but since my holidays in Canada I really like IPA's I really enjoyed this one aswell even if I already tasted better one's. But I have to say the design of the can is amazing.
One big advantage of this little accident is that I saw that most of those beers are near or slightly above the expiry date and so I will have to drink them in the near future and maybe even make some post about it.
When life gives you lemons, make lemon beer!
I love the can design! I wonder what would the "wanna go to the sun" tastes like and also the elephant one.
Yeah I am also excited to taste them.
