Having a great NEIPA after about a month.

Well, it’s been a while since I had a nice NEIPA, the last one being probably about a month ago. In the beginning, when the NEIPA beer style was “invented” I didn’t have a great passion about it, but now definitely enjoy its characteristics, like the great juiciness and thick body. These characteristic make this style a great competitor of ordinary fruity juices and nectars, although there are no additional fruits in the traditional NEIPA.

This exact one is called Wave Machine and the labeling is really wavy and stylized to match the beer’s name perfectly. These brewers are so-called “Gypsy” brewers. They are so called because they don’t have their own brewery and choose different brewers around the world to make and collaborate their beers. The hard part there is, that you have to find a nice and quality brewery, which is agreeable to making your beer on your recipe. I must admit these two men - the Gypsy brewers always make the best and achieve to find one of the best breweries around the world.

The beer itself was absolutely pleasant and refreshing. With the opening of the can, I definitely found the peaches in the aroma. A lot of peaches! And when you open an ordinary can, you cannot really smell something from about a meter away. This absolutely makes it clear that the beer has a great amount of hops added - the thing that is most expensive ingredient in a beer. And I cannot imagine how much of it they must have added when brewing and fermenting the brew.

When trying it, the peaches blend quite well with citrus, orange-grapefruit tastes and the boquet is complete. The thick body makes the beer utterly juicy and refreshing and only the alcohol content makes this beer differ from a nice fruity nectar. And the alcohol content here is 7,5%! Although the packaging is 440 ml, it makes you really dizzy after having just one can.

I find this style to be a very good friend with the heat of the summer, and although there is not much hop bitterness like a proper, traditional American IPA, I tend to like it a lot. Of course, I need ordinary IPAs too, but definitely like interchange the two styles from time to time. Today I will have a NEIPA, tomorrow I will need an IPA. 😁

So, really, I found this one to be the perfect juice to relieve your soul in a hot summer day.
Cheers!
