Hello beer tasters!
Cannabis beer? Looks that the hemp is a magic word and should be present everywhere, from bread, biscuits, spreads, and finally to beer.
I've been looking at the bottle at the local Hofer store for a while now and curiosity gave me no peace until I bought it. Well, let's try this weld.
Euphoria cannabis Beer
Brewed by commercial brewery Pardubický Pivovar, Pardubice, Czech Republic, for Euphoria. Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 4.5% ABV. Brewed with real cannabis but with no THC they say. Hm...
Clear yellow color, the foam is very weak. The first sip is watery, otherwise the sweetness of the malt is felt, there is no specific bitterness to detect, some sort of fruit flavors in the background and maybe a very, very poor taste of the hemp.
Poor and fuzzy lager, people taste it mostly because of curiosity I would say.
What the heck is going on here? I don't know, the word hemp is a buzzword, but a good beer needs something more. Come on, if THC were in there, we could have gone through it.
If you take a quick look at the Euphoria website, which is not a brewery at all, what do they have to offer? Cannabis lollipops, Cocaine Vodka, Hemp Beer, Suicide Apsynth...it all seems no sense, only a market niche...

Agree with you. Well, I'll see, maybe in the future another company will sell this kind of beer and I'll do as one old Slovenian saying: Donkey never goes twice to ice...
