Hello beer tasters!
New Beer in town! From one of the oldest Slovenian breweries. Such an event can't go past me. A few weeks ago I was tried Laško Golding, which was intensively advertised (although advertising for alcohol is prohibited ...) and it didn't impress me. Today I have Lasko IPA on the table. I'm going from words to action :)
Laško IPA
Brewed by Pivovarna Laško, commercial brewery, Laško, Slovenia. Now owned by Haineken... otherwise, all bigger breweries in the Balkans are owned by Haineken...but let us leave this for some other occasion... maybe all this breweries are a bit more active, who would know?
Beer is very pure golden with a solid foam. The first sip is interesting, the aroma of hops, lemons and other citrus fruits. Solidly bitter, maybe it should be a bit more bitter, and some sweet fruits taste in the background. Bitterness also remains at the end. Very good. I tasted bottle in Bar Orange.
As you can see, in any case I tried a can also. It's just fine. I'd say they got the point with this beer. It's the real IPA, maybe, if it had a little bit of bitterness more would be even better. The price is also very favorable, 1.10 € for 0.5l can in the shop.
I recommend it for hot summer days.
