Hello beer tasters!
This is quick review of a beer tasted previous weekend on short relaxation. It's the second beer of the same brewery, the first one posted 5 days ago.
Zlatni Medvjed (or in English Golden Bear) is brewed by the microbrewery Pivovara Medvjedgrad, Zagreb, Croatia.
They say that's Pilsener style beer. It's a clear golden color with little foam and not so many bubbles. Grass aroma, malts, the taste of herbs and some citrus maybe, but not enough bitter for a pilsner I think.
Anyway, it's light and refreshing if served cold.

Good to know. Last few years, when Heineken comes to Balkan they bought almost all big breweries in all countries of exYugoslavia.
But the contra effect is that there's now everywhere a lot of small, microbreweries :)
