The main trainstation in Berlin has a very nice glass fasade and it is a very modern building. It is one of the main traffic spots in Berlin and Stefan and I visited it because our ship for the Spree Kreuzfahrt was leaving nearby. The main trainstation has two platform levels and levels for S-bahn, Ubahn and the metro lines. It is situated near the Spree river and more or less in the center of Berlin. If the reputation on punctuality of the Deutsche Bahn would have been better, Stefan and I would have considered traveling there via night train. But we heard from several construction sites on the tracks and delayed trains as well as canceled trains, so we chose to fly.
