A lot of real-life engagements and busy working schedule keeps me away for a while, now I'm back and hopefully, I didn't miss that much. Despite my hectic schedule I still manage to do an engagement on this platform and one of those is the recent @steemph.uae meet-up.
As an expat, it is always good to know that there are people who share the same interest with you and that is Steemit. Meeting them is a great pleasure that you will treasure for all your life. Organized by @arrliinn with her husband @kennyroy together with @pingcess and the rest of the gang make this much-anticipated meet-up finally happens.
Held in Dagat-Dagatan Restaurant in Al Rigga, Dubai. I and @cheche016 go together cause we are from the same place. It's funny cause even we don't know the venue, we are able to find it in less than a minute as if we went there before. Upon arriving, @iamdeth welcomes us and stay with us while waiting for the rest of the guys.
And finally, they've arrived.
The venue was so great, serving a buffet of mouth-watering Filipino foods. Having new friends is sure a great way to spend a day not thinking of anything from the time being. After we eat the most senior of the group @arrliinn ( just kidding) started to discuss Steemit and what can we achieved as a group. @kennyroy also starts to share other Filipinos in the restaurant the beauty of the platform. We started discussing things in the dining area until our time to have access to the conference room finally come, there being the eldest @arrliinn discusses starting up and what you can achieve in Steemit in a long term. Many topics have been discussed and introduce especially to the persons that never yet to sign up.
The long day has finally ended that we need to part ways but anticipating the next meet-up is the most exciting thing that worth waiting. Wait a minute, I think I forget something important? (thinking) oh yes! The photo-ops!!
I think of presenting the photos in a different way this time. I am learning video editing and practice by making this slideshow...
