Who accepts Alt Coins - That's the real question!

Other than Coinpayments.net - where would one go to accept alt coins?

Shapeshift is a half solution - because it forces a conversion to btc. (Which is alright but really you're just accepting bitcoin, which is only boosting the bitcoin economy)

One thing I remember seeing everywhere back when Bitcoin was getting so much more popular.

Long after the days of Gavin's faucet giving away 1 btc per claim.

You'd see this plastered everywhere:

And before long the price and exposure of bitcoin had gained exponentially.

There needs to be a similar simple solution for online merchants to accept payment in alt-coins for any real mass adoption.

If you started seeing something like this everywhere:

The price of Steem would eventually start to skyrocket.

As with any other alt-coin.

I remember having dozens of copy and paste scripts that would help me as a web developer to accept payments for bitcoins.

Nothing like that exists for anything other than Dogecoin and Litecoin..

If anyone has stumbled upon any more options - please share!

You can combine the already established market and users of OpenBazaar and use Shapeshift to get paid in Steem, advertise your store is doing as such via the OpenBazaar marketplace. Like make sure it is known that even though people can pay with Bitcoin, it is directly converted to Steem https://steemit.com/steemit/@cryplectibles/openbazaar-takes-steem-list-your-art-or-garage-sale-items-now If enough Steem users were able to list their items and create a user base on OpenBazaar that is Steem users and it is known.

That is a great work-around, and I'm glad that there are other options available, even if it's not the most convenient.

Thanks for sharing!

this is great but how about some trading events like aergo on some exchanges? https://t.me/Kucoin_News/905 Are you planning to do some activities before this year ends?
