YES!!!! Good question. At last one of the few that have dug a little deeper. I saw that in the original many years ago. The reason I went looking was after reading the book of Yasher, which as you pointed out, gives quite an interesting alternate account. This came about when we switch from a paraphrase bible to the ESV. Suddenly it occurred to me that it says "they" and the "they" is pretty clearly NOT the brothers. :-)
