According Google - Thanksgiving is the expression of gratitude or act of giving thanks.
Thanksgiving is an act of showing respect, honour, affection and gratitude to someone for doing a thing or the other for you. Gratitude is the one who open door of another opportunity. When a man is full of thanksgiving, he get more and more all the time.
The Bible says in Ephesians 5:20, Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:8 also says in everything give thanks for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Thanksgiving is so important to our spirit, soul and body. It also opens the window of heaven. Giving thanks to the Lord always gives us joy of the heart. Thanksgiving draws you near to God and it helps you to practise the presence of God.

Thanksgiving is important to our spirit, soul and body because;

- It helps to practice the presence of God.
- It breaks any satanic agenda.
- It reminds you of what God have done for you.
- It gives you a lifting spirit.
- It gear up your relationship with God.
- It gives you another opportunities.
Conclusion
Thanksgiving or praising God is very important to our lives and is what God wants from us. It shows deep respect, honour, pious, and open doors for more testimony with more references.
