Public Commons Re-Opened

in #bicycle5 years ago

The news that the provincial health authority had deemed that public parks can now be legally accessed again put a smile on this plandemic mug.

A favorite local bicycle ride of mine is Point Pleasant Park in Halifax Peninsula's south end. Having just bought a new bike a couple of weeks ago it seemed right to strike out just after morning caregiving duties for my 96 year old Mom.

Today's video clip is a bit different for me. A bit of an editorial. 😲

Hi @novacadian, imagine all the riding you can do now. It is a great way to go a long way in a short time.

Yeah can cover a lot more ground more quickly with the new mowchine. Even beyond the 9 gears high and low and lighter alloy frame, the wheel is 3 inches greater in diameter so every revolution goes 1/8 further (if my head math is right).

enjoy man and be careful

My driving has become much more defensive after installing a rear view mirror last year. It is no longer a split decision after a quick glance over my shoulder.
