Exactly, there's no way you would do a better job, and even if you would, then what about the time and resources you'll need, when you can just delegate the function and let them handle it. I learned this too late, cuz I was hacked and a year's earning was stolen from me.

There is some concern when it comes to "not your keys". But I think most of the time it's because of suspicious behavior by the depositor. When we behave, our accounts don't get locked.
