Oh, what a surprise. Here are two friends meeting for a morning chat.
The Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius) of the Corvidae family is the best-known Jay. It is known for its distinctive calling and colourful plumage, and the other, the night hunter, the Great grey owl (Strix nebulosa), should actually sleep during the day, instead of flirting with its beautiful friend. Whether such a meeting of both living birds ever actually happened - I don't know.
Well, it is not my image, only the pottery was made by me many years ago. My father was the lucky guy who attended that special event in his garden with his camera.

La eŭrazia garolo (Garrulus glandarius) de la familio korvedoj estas la plej konata garolo. Ĝi estas konata pro sia aparta voko kaj sia bunta plumaro, kaj la alia, la nokta rabisto strigo (Strix nebulosa), efektive devus dormi dum la tago, anstataŭ flirtadi kun sia bela amiko. Ĉu tia renkontiĝo de ambaŭ vivantaj birdoj efektive okazi- mi ne scias.
Nu ne estas mia bildo, nur la ceramiko estas farita de mi antaŭ multaj jaroj. Mia patro estis la bonŝanculo, kiu ĉeestis tiun specialan eventon.

Beautiful bird!
Indeed it is a beautiful bird. In times of bird population decline to see them still around and sometimes even to find one of the little blue feathers makes me happy. Have a gorgeous day.
