Chocolate-backed Kingfisher (Halcyon badia) is a species of bird in the Alcedinidae family.
The chocolate-backed kingfisher is chocolate-coloured with a red bill and white belly. It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda.
