A student who saved some Bitcoin for an old school project in 2014 is now paying a College Tuition! But this student should forget college tuition and just start a Bitcoin related crypto business centered around her story and how students in school can start at ANY grade making money and collecting Bitcoin. We need to encourage more students to use steemit in their homework assignments and to make presentations about steem to their classmates! imagine a teacher requiring all students to have steem accounts and to submit homework and projects on steemit and have classmates upvoting each other, students would grade by upvoting at different levels or fail a student by flagging, I see a whole new world for education using steem where students actually leave class earning some money and feeling accomplished!

The same way dash has masternodes voting on new proposals to spend newly minted Dash (mined proof of stake) and how Dash will use new dash created to go advertise Dash, I just LOVE this whole "governance" model, It is like a living system self sustaining itself forever (until entropic heat death... unless steem blockchain reaches Omega Point type 6 civilization using 10^60th subatomic particles as one giant super computer to simulate the entire universe and slow it down ad allow consciousness to experience infinite time just slow the simulation down slower than how fast the universe is collapsing at the end of time) So Steem COULD become an AI sentient singularity entity and live forever and fund itself... Bitcoin was the first step then Steem and EOS and STEEM EOS or STEEMOS will break out into the world in 2018 and it will be very epic, 3d blockchains, running all the altcoins inside EOS intersecting them, being able to delegate stake between POS coins, its all going to be next level stuff!
I sincerely think POW Bitcoin is obsolete already and all that electricity is being wasted and @dan is correct. Bitcoin and Ethereum and burning electricity and The world of crypto currency no longer needs Proof of Work like Bitcoin uses, we only need DPOS and by 2020 this will be made very obvious! 2018 will show us how powerful Delegated Proof of Stake is and its superiority to Wasteful Bitcoin style Proof of Work farms of electricity hungry machines just using up sooo much electricity to do a task which can be done with a few solar panels for the ENTIRE network like Steem/Golos/BTS/EOS so let us rejoice in the superiority of DPOS Graphene systems!

Like seriously we need to get steemit into education. I shared an idea of sort on my growth-idea post. Mostly about using steemit to support research students in the area of drug discovery.
Yes had an idea of making AA or NA for Steem where you can get paid to stay sober, and check in make posts about your state and have INCENTIVE to stay away from dope, to stay away from addiction by getting paid to post about staying sober, sure some people lie but of people take pics of their faces arms and stuff like that its easy to tell with some people if they are sober thru video chat people can upload videos of themselves everyday to prove they are sober IF they are just recently in recovery, AND get people paid to even submit to voluntary drug tests on he Bloclchain hha deventralized drug ytests and if you test clean you get cryptocurrency smart media token for a drug rehab hah,

I'm from Estonia as well and as it's great that students in school can make Steemit based homework and introduce this awesome platform to their classmates and schoolmates, what about other people?
Good word spreads fast between school walls from one student to another. I heard about Steemit thanks to the fact that I am a part of estonian official discord community, where there are a lot of young people as well. The word about Steemit hasn't really spread for people who have finished school or it spreads heavily slower. At least none of my colleagues from work, friends or family haven't heard of Steemit.
It's a good idea that @nepo pointed out. To get this into estonian media and spread the word to a larger audience.
Although.. I've been an estonian blogger for many years and as this is a growing trend in Estonia, many people still don't get the point of it. Estonians are mostly introverts and people tend to believe they shouldn't publish anything about their lives online. Bloggers here have even gotten a lot of negative feedback for sharing their lives on the internet.
But as the younger generation is starting to take the spotlight, things will and are about to change in that area and introducing Steemit is a great idea.
