RE: $2,000 BITCOIN: COULD ETHEREUM GO TO $1,000?

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Everyone that is new to these cryptos should remember one thing! They are a software program based on open source code. At any moment, that feature that makes one "better" than another could be incorporated into most of them. A few years back, the Bitcoin core developers considered some major changes, block speed, block size etc., but decided to wait because others like Litecoin, Feathercoin, were already EXPERIMENTING with these features. Many of these alt coins are just that... running as a test case for new ideas.
I respect the fact that the Bitcoin core development team is conservative and willing to wait before incorporating a change. Many companies are starting to transfer to Litecoin because transactions are faster, and that is good as well, but lets see how the LTC structure reacts when the transaction count hits full throttle to what their network can handle.
Having said all that, I will also add that, Etherum, Ripple, DASH, and many other cryptos are entirely different than BTC, and will always remain so. BTC cannot and would not be able to duplicate the features of these alts. They are essential blockchain 2.0 products. It is my view that worldwide adoption will not happen till blockchain 3.0 technology is invented. As of right now, the only alt coin that I have found trying to develop a 3.0 platform is DASH. Their upcoming 'Evolution' wallet will change everything that newcomers and veterans hate about cryptos.
