I enjoy articles that make ridiculous assertions and then promptly destroy the assertions they made. You could have been honest from the gate. "Bitcoin isn't a risk to financial markets yet, but could be in the future." Doesn't quite roll off the tongue. Nor does it feed into talk around the ever sinking price of bitcoin within the last week.

If anything, a crypto crash would mean half a trillion dollars enters the traditional market again. Some people will lose but that's the game all investors play. I understand the need for regulation, particularly when it comes to taking advantage of people. However, if I sell you an idea with the HOPE that it will generate more revenue, then that's the risk you take. You could win big, lose big or draw.

I don't believe in regulation to save people from themselves. Most people have due diligence in things like this. The ones who don't tend to jump headfirst in damn near everything. No amount of regulation will help those people.
