Didn't login to my Exodus wallet for quite some time, so wasn't even aware of the new update.

Now, I wouldn't even try - just to stay on the safe side, until you make a new post and tell us how did you handle that issue.
BTW - Did you send a ticket to Exodus support and inform them about it?
Their slack is full, I should have joined months ago, but too many slacks and chat rooms etc etc already LOL
I will likely email them after I review all their FAQ's and support resources, which I started this weekend.
I will post on this episode when it is resolved, etc etc
