I don't even believe lobbyist play any role in the grand scale of things, TPTB aren't about money, money is just a tool for them.
They don't want to enrich anyone, they want to impoverish the masses mentally, not necessarily physically, though that might be a way to accomplish the first, it's not the goal itself, cause it's all about the mind, the realm of causation. It's all about mind control.
If you think it's all about money than you're in for a surprise when you find out that there's a satanic cult running the world, not only governments but every institution of influence.
