An unidentified man flashed a sign saying ‘buy bitcoin’ during Federal Chair Janet Yellen’s Live televised testimony Wednesday July 12, 2017 before the House Financial Services Committee.
According to Coindesk, right after this happened Bitcoin traded 3.7 % higher at $2,418.46.

The young man was subsequently escorted from the hearing on grounds that his sign flashing violated House Committee runes.
Janet Yellen refuses to comment on the incident or cryptocurrencies.

As of this posting, he has received over $10,000 of BTC from donators to his wallet address.
Those of us crypto supporters are applauding, and giggling about his efforts, many naysayers are upset- using the argument that Bitcoin dosen't need free publicity because only last week Tom Lee, former JP Morgan strategist and founder of Fundstrat Global Advisors, said BTC is headed "way, way up"
“We believe one of the drivers [of bitcoin]is crypto-currencies are cannibalizing demand for gold. Based on this premise, we take a stab at establishing valuation framework for bitcoin. Based on our model, we estimate that bitcoin’s value per unit could be $20,000 to $55,000 by 2022.”
Lee believes that the limited supply (21 mil available units) and growing demand is only going to drive up the price. And that will entice central banks to buy in, which will alter the landscape and accelerate BTC as a substitution for gold.
Bitcoin is currently worth over double the price of Gold.
At about the same time Lee was making his prediction, Goldman Sachs’ head of technical strategy, Sheba Jafari, predicted Bitcoin should soon rise to $4,000.
