The date above is the exact time when Laszlo Hanyecz, who's deemed to be among the first true Bitcoin enthusiasts, confirmed his purchase of 2 large Papa Johns pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins from another user of the BitTalk community, going by the nickname Jercos.

(Today it's also an International Pizza Day for every bitcoin enthusiast out there)

Did Laszlo make the BIGGEST MISTAKE of HIS LIFE?

Arguably... YES.

You see, many of us see opportunities staring in our faces, almost on the daily bases, however most completely miss to recognize them, to only short years afterwards realizing how big of a mistake that really was!

Jercos saw the opportunity, that was being presented to him.

He received 10,000 Bitcoins, that TODAY are worth $27,709,000!!!! 🤑

Maybe he was thinking "short term", since at the time, 10,000 bitcoins were worth about $40, and the pizza he needed to buy about $30.

or MAYBE...

He saw where the WORLD of DIGITAL PAYMENTS is actually going ....

Why am I telling you this?

TODAY, it comes at NO SURPRISE anymore, that technological advancements are accelerating at an incredible pace.
However when it comes to MONEY, we are STILL behind!

Certain elements of the financial system, by those who follow it closely, can be seen as almost ARCHAIC.

However we are ALREADY starting to see a glimpse of progress.... an indication that the World is finally looking to "upgrade" this area too ... with some first signals that the "paper money" will soon to be the thing of the past.

What else could be possibly changing?

I personally believe that FIAT currencies like GBP, USD, EURO etc... will also completely disappear in the not so distant future...

Why?

Because they do NOT actually exist in quantities, we think they are... They've been engineered, printed and then heavily manipulated by you know whom...

However all they are is an agreement between You and Me, that this particular piece of paper has some value...

Proof?

Lets ALL go to CASH MASHINES and request our money ...

Then, lets grab some popcorn and watch the CHAOS unfold, just like it did in GREECE, not that long ago.

Why?

Because the Banks haven't got it!

This is just one of the reasons why Digital Currencies are the FUTURE...

Bitcoin is just one of many examples, clearly demonstrating that this CAN work.... bah! It already IS WORKING ...

Well, to some degree it is.

And YES, we all know by now that Bitcoin isn't perfect...

This.... "segwit, hard fork, segwit, hard fork" situation isn't just a "ONE OFF" ...

Back in 2009, the concept looked almost idyllic...

The World, where one currency would open up the World of prosperity for everyone, by introducing a currency limited in supply, that can be universally accepted, freely and quickly exchanged for a little to no fee.

This didn't quite happen for Bitcoin and I personally believe that Bitcoin just doesn't have what it takes to make it happen.
Relying on a consortium of developers due to its decentralized structure, each with private agendas, to make decisions on it's future is a slow and painful reality for Bitcoin Enthusiasts.

You see,

Just like Netscape, Yahoo, Myspace, Blockbuster, Blackberry, Nokia, Polaroid ... (and I can go on here for some time)...

Once had something VERY SPECIAL ...

But

FAILED to ADOPT QUICKLY ENOUGH to forever changing environments.

Will Bitcoin follow their path?

Well... it's a sensitive topic, however I believe that it will...

There will be NEW companies, emerging within the Blockchain and Digital Currencies Industries, that WILL have what it takes to create solutions that have the potential to go MAINSTREAM whilst continuously innovating.

What are these currencies, that have this potential?

Some of us have a pretty good idea...

I will be doing a special webinar about this towards the end of next week, if you are interested in learning more about it, feel free to reach out for the registration link.

Very good. I don't know which Crypto will be the winner in 10 years so I am buying $100 of the top 10. Maybe it will be Steem and I have $500 of that one. Upvoted.

@offgridlife yes, it's quite early to tell right now and there are some good coins there. Definitely STEEM is among the strong ones, with a large community, growing daily.
