I feel like most people value bitcoin like gold. They dont use it much like a currency. Buy and store which i am doing too. It does not have the the best features but emotional attachment and popularity is high. I think we will know the actual value of it when all the 21 million bitcoin is mined. It might go down after that because of much more effecient and cheap altcoin but will pick again like some antique coin collection.
