Ah yes but bitcoin is actually much more stable in terms of its wild swings now that it is at a much higher price point. Before we saw swings of 1000% and more on the negative side this time around we saw about 80% as more money goes into bitcoin the more stable it becomes as more parties are involved instead of one single user having a majority control to trigger ups and downs in the market.
One thing I really really hope that happens this year is people stop reacting to fake news (yeah we can all dream right lol)
