My thoughts are that fiat means depending and trusting a 3rd party to look after your interests and history has demonstrated that controlling organizations led by individuals will always work according to their own interest so why shouldn’t we do the same. These alternative stores of value help ensure our monetary sovereignty however are plagued with challenges like regulation and adoption. If we could pay our bills with these assets, we would no longer hold fiat but that challenge remains and those in power have little incentive to change it.
Agreed but fiat and governments are going to fight like crazy to not allow for that which is where we are now. Governments and banks have so much control is making it extremely difficult/impossible to adopt crypto even though it is better.
Crypto are citizen powering while fiat are govt powering currency.
