Well, it is true, you can earn 0.01BTC for free...it will take you 1 year though and it is a very slow process.
Basically, use the following bitcoin faucet to get approx 0.0000025BTC every hour for free.
Do this 12 times a day every day for a year and you will end up with about 0.01BTC at the end of the year!
I'm half serious...i think doing this 12 times per day for a year would get pretty tiring...but they do actually give out free BTC!!
While it may not be a scam in your opinion, it could be considered spam. Spam is not appreciated by the community and could be flagged or may result in action from the cheetah bot..
Some things that can be considered spam:
