There is one question no one is asking about Bitcoin: WHY?

Sure, you can ask any tech nerd about Bitcoin, and they will tell you that it's the first digital currency, it's decentralized, and it utilizes blockchain technology.
That's all fine and dandy, but what does that mean. WHY is it so important?
