I have read through the whitepaper as well but will need to read it a couple of more times to fully understand the differences with blockchain technology. The ability to scale and generate the volume of transactions it mentions is surely a huge leap forward if we want to integrate the crypto space with real world transactions today like e-commerce.
However, I am split on their direction with governance. While they want to target 39 “renowned enterprises” for the governance, we do not know much more of the requirements to fall in that elite group. I would be concerned that some of them would be today’s centralized organizations that have the financial system and internet doninated at the moment. Also, they are a for profit organization and another organization Swirlds owns the intellectual property rights in the hashgraph consensus algorithm. This concerns me in the long run if it is truly a success.
Definitely interested in hearing more views and perspectives of this project. Thanks for your thoughts!

Blockchain technology is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions. However, it can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value. Information held on a blockchain exists as shared and is continually reconciled/updated. Hashgraph, on the other hand, claims to support a superior data structure capable of solving many of the problems that the Blockchain community has been struggling with for some time like, consensus mechanism

Hashgraph is the “future of the internet and decentralized technology.” That’s a very bold statement made up of a lot of fancy words, but backing up such claims is something else entirely. This new distributed ledger technology is cost-effective, as it doesn’t require proof of work like Bitcoin does. It also seems a lot quicker, with a transaction throughput of 50,000 times that of most blockchains.

I had to watch your video on You Tube. Everytime I open your videos on Steemit there is a warning saying "corrupt".

I personally think that many developers will now come out and call their blockchain-related technology "groundbreaking". This just displays the general Awareness where we are heading towards in the close future.
I think "Manna" has the potential to become a core crypto currency because it freely distributes Manna on a weekly basis without further conditions to create a UBI (=Universal Basic Income). I read their white paper and it is absolutely great.

I'm very skeptic due to closed source and that, but it's still extremely interesting ideas so I really hope you continue to research and report on this!
Even if we can't use their code, the general design can be copied and it doesn't matter how many patents and monopolies they have gotten from governments if a new better system without owners shows up.
