The team of people behind the initiative prefers to remain anonymous, saying that their goal is to create a "quality product that will be good to users and speak for itself, allowing creators to stay in the shade." They anticipated that the creators are represented by characters within the world of Deus ETH and that they can be distinguished by means of a tattoo on the forehead. "The professionalism of the team comes from the enormous experience in film, dramaturgy, painting and of course in blockchain," he added. However, they will not participate in the lottery themselves.

Regarding the design of the characters, we could know that among the main influences highlights the cartoon "Hour of Adventure" by Pendleton Ward, which tells the adventures of a child (Finn) and his dog (Jake) in a post-apocalyptic world. It is also based on the science fiction film "Dune" (1984) by David Lynch, whose main setting is the desert planet Arrakis, and the action film "Mad Max Fury Road" (2015) by George Miller, which talks about a future Deserted land. And although the characters represent anthropomorphic coins, they are not designed to be similar to any specific cryptocurrency:
When we invented the characters, we were inspired by the heroes of "Adventure Time". Thus, Deus ETH tokens by body structure are similar, for example, with Mint Butler (Mentita) appearing in episodes quite often. We were interested in putting our heroes in an unpredictable world full of dangers, so we have chosen the desert as the landscape. Here we are in some way oriented to the planet Arrakis of the movie "Dune" by David Lynch. Of course, in this crazy world there was no place for elegant clothes, that's why the tokens are similar to Mad Max's heroes, because they do not live in the sugar kingdom but in the harsh desert, where at any moment they have to fight for their lives, so they appear like that.
