SegWit activation enters it's decisive phase.
New signalling period for Bitcoin protocol just started - in consists of 2016 blocks and will last for 2 weeks. During this time close to 100% miners should be signalling BIP141 - the SegWit.
If after 2 weeks at least 95% of blocks will be signalling BIP141 - the SegWit will enter lock-in period which practically guarantees SegWit activation.
As there's more green in the progress bar (you can check it live on coin.dance) there should be more green on the markets ;) Of course there's still August 1 but in my opinion the hard fork is already included in the Bitcoin price. In other words - I'm bullish ;)
Welcome Segwit! This upgrade will be a historical moment for Bitcoin. I think 2nd layers like LN and RSK will bring a lot of innovation and value to BTC. I totally agree that the hard fork is already priced in and I think it will cause almost no damage to BTC, since it is almost sure that BCC will become an altcoin. This means that the brand and limited supply will remain how it has always been. Im bullish too! HODL!

Very good update! I think this may bring a bit more confidence back to the crypto market but I doubt we will see a bull run until its completely settled. Its good to know the schedule is moving along as planned and that BTC isn't completely hopeless!
Yep, all according to plan so far :) Money likes certainty.
