How did I not know this? This will open a whole new world! Thanks for the info.
Oh nice. Glad I brought it to your attention then.
That's amazing. If amazon does it soon others will follow suite
Yeah, you'd think so given how influential they are.
Amazon has seen the future and has started preparing for it, crypto are the future of money and as more companies figure this out early the better
for that article you have been upvoted, resteemit and followed . feel free to follow back
This is a pretty cool idea. Hopefully in the future, a widespread acceptance directly by Amazon and other vendors would be great news. Personally, I want to hold on to Bitcoin and not let it go!
Same. But then I also want to spend crypto to break away from fiat money.

wow. dope, very useful for this coming shopping season!
Cool. Glad you found this useful.
Wow I never knew a website like that existed. Not that it matters too much as I don't live in canada, but still a really cool concept. Wonder if we have anything like it here in the states.
The Purse website you can use in the US of course. The Living Room of Satoshi is an Australian website. I've not come across anything else like this. Although Australian banking is quite innovative (for banking) compared to most other countries, so it doesn't surprise me that the Aussies built something like this off the back of it.
Yeah, there was a petition last year too for bitcoin, that I actually signed. No idea what happened with it. Someone told me about purse recently, but I have not used it.
That would be awesome except I don't have bitcoins cos Im hopeless like that. I need to figure out how to buy steem with money. Can I use my paypal account?
Thanks for the Satoshi reminder. I think today is the day I'm going to do my first withdrawl!!
No idea sorry. I am locked out of my paypal since the 2FA is set to an Australian phone number I no longer have. I will need to send them like 50 types of ID to unlock it, which seems like a lot of effort.
Lets hope it goes ahead. Meanwhile I'll be checking that link to use it now
Had some fun using purse.io a while back. Basically gave me an excuse to buy some stuff in the name of "research" and seeing how the process works ;)

I went by our local Mail Boxes Etc. the other day and they were supposed to be set up to take Bitcoin. I was pretty shocked. Little town Panama is hitting it big! Interesting that amazon will possibly be accepting in the future as well. Now, if we could just get the mail system in Panama to be a little more cost effective. ;) Yeah right!
@choogirl purse.io sounds great! It sucks how little can be shipped to Australia on Amazon, but hey they're opening here so that should help open it up. And yes, with the sales Amazon has if they opened up to paying by crypto that'd be so good price wise. And I've been wondering about how best to spend crypto in the future while avoiding tax. I've seen livingroomofsatoshi but haven't used it as of yet.
I really don't understand why we live in a world where everything is available, and yet certain things are restricted based on your location. It's total bullshit and makes no sense.
Also from what I've seen of livingroomofsatoshi the conversion rates are usually around 4% worse than the exchanges. Better than paying tax if the price has gone up substantially, but maybe not in other circumstances.
When I think of how many dollars go from this household to Amazon, your info is really great!
Great info !
thanks for sharing @choogirl !!
