Robinson is right for the wrong reasons. Bitcoin (BTC), is a bubble because Blockstream-Core crippled the coin and it doesn't adhere to Satoshi's vision. So yes, BTC is neither an investment nor a currency.
The other aspect ignored by Robertson is that cryptocurrency is heavily used in Asia and over 80% of crypto purchase occurs in the Asian markets. Interestingly however the crippling of Bitcoin took place mostly in the USA by Blocksream controlled developers.
Fortunately, there is Bitcoin Cash that has a real use case with rapidly growing adoption.
