Exchanging your Crypto into cash in Australia is easy! Here is the tutorial on how you can do the same.
Once you have created your account on LocalBitcoins you can follow the below tutorial to find a vendor who is willing to buy your Bitcoin in return for fiat currency.
Part 1: Deposit BTC in your LocalBitcoins Wallet
Your wallet is located HERE.
Click [Receive bitcoins].
Copy the receiving address above (mine is hidden for my own anonymity reasons) and paste it into the space provided for addresses in your Wallet/Exchange.
I used my Exodus wallet.
Part 2: Select [Quick Sell]
Once you deposit the BTC in your LocalBitcoins wallet select quick sell in the top left of your screen.
You will be prompted with an amount in fiat currency you would like to receive for Bitcoin.
After you input the amount in fiat you will be asked which [online offer] you would like to choose.
I am choosing Cash at ATM because that is the easiest method of transfer for me. There are other options such as [Cash By Mail] if you do not have a bank account.
Part 3: Choose A Vendor
Now choose a vendor, they all have different terms of trade and price. Please choose carefully.
There is a rating on all of these vendors, make sure everyone who they have transacted with were satisfied 100%.
Click [SELL] on the vendor which you have chosen.
Part 4: Input Desired Trade Volume
Input the amount you wish to sell and write a message to the vendor.
Submit the trade request form, then fund the trade with your bitcoins using a single click, enable the escrow and wait for the buyer to make the payment.
The buyer has 6 hours time to make the payment. When you have received the payment, release the bitcoins to the buyer. (LINK)
Part 5: Chat With Your Vendor
I was prompted for my bank details.
I continued to send my details.
Part 6: Release Bitcoins Once Satisfied
I was given the money nearly instantly.
After you receive the payment you shall click [Release Bitcoins] to pay your vendor.
Voila!
You have just turned your hard earned Bitcoin into Fiat Currency!
