Well, what is decentralization exactly?
Basically, decentralization means that instead of depending on a single person, place, or thing to be dependable for something, you spread it out so broadly that you never have to worry about any piece failing. If one place has the only copy of the blockchain, you worry about a disaster at the place, or who has the power to control that place. But when thousands of places all around the world have a full copy of that blockchain, and they all automatically share it with each other, then you don’t worry about any one of them going missing or trying to change things - if they try to make a malicious change, they’d be overwhelmed by all the honest copies.
