Comparing Three Bitcoin Transaction Accelerators On the Market

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

As bitcoin scaling issue remains unresolved and the transactions are filling up the blocks every day, many bitcoin service providers are offering bitcoin transaction accelerator services for bitcoin users to help them clear the stuck bitcoin transactions and make the transactions go through in the bitcoin network, like ViaBTC, BTC.com, sosobtc. I will present you how they work below.

ViaBTC

ViaBTC is the first one to offer this service which is to give priority to include the unconfirmed transactions in the next mined blocks by ViaBTC pool and doesn’t charge any fees with the requirement that your tx has included minimum 0.0001BTC/KB as fees.

But it is limited to 100 tx for the number of submitted transactions in one hour.It means that the service will only accept 100 tx submission within one hour and Many users fail to submit their tx in most cases and have to do it again in the next hour. Even they can succeed in submitting the tx and it is still uncertain when ViaBTC pool will mine the next block and be able to include your tx. There are still many tx on the waiting queue. Here is a review article.

BTC.com

It is claimed that BTC.com cooperates with several leading mining pools to provide bitcoin transaction accelerator service. However, in most cases BTC.com bitcoin mining pool is including the stuck transactions in their own mined blocks. They promises that the chance of getting transactions included in the block within one hour is 75%, within 4 hours the chance is 98%. They guarantee that if the tx is not confirmed in 12 hours, the fees will be fully refunded. Once you open the service page, yo can see the average confirmation time on the middle of the page. At the time of my writing, it shows 50 minutes.

Nevertheless, it is paying service. No matter how much the transaction fees are included in the tx, BTC.com is still charging you based on the tx size throug credit card. After inputting the tx in the box, click “estimate the fee” which is proportional with the tx size and vary with the congestion level of bitcoin network. From my observation, their current fees are $11/KB

Another benefit for bitcoiners is that it doesn’t require any minimum fees attached in the transactions. Even you pay 0 fees, you still have the chance to get the tx confirmed through BTC.com transaction accelerator service.

sosobtc

It offers the same service with BTC.com, but charge lower fee rate, only $2.9/KB ( minimum is 1KB even for the tx of lower 1KB )which explicitly is put on the service announcement page. They claim that after receiving the commission, the tx will be confirmed in 2 hours. Otherwise the money will be fully refunded.

sosobtc is just a platform which offering cryprocurrency price chart, news, navigation. They don’t have their own mining pool and cooperate with several mining pools to launch bitcoin transaction accelerator service. However, they don’t have public service page as the other two providers. User have to add their customer service staff in wechat (cai20101150090) or QQ (67433377), who will manually accelerate your tx. It will probably take a while for them to confirm your request in wechat or QQ whose name are sosobtc文豪.

The fee rate is competitive comparing with BTC.com. Beside that, they have two hours confirmation guarantee, which will allow users to exactly know the latest time their transactions get confirmed in the bitcoin network.
