On Friday August 17 Anonymous Rapper ICON-1 EQUALS EMCEE CUBED flew from Atlanta to Brooklyn to record a song he'd been working on about Bitcoin. He believes saving your money in equal amounts of Bitcoin and Gold are the only way to survive the coming crash of usury based fiat currencies. What he didn't realize is that he was actually recording the song on the 10th anniversary of the registration of the domain name bitcoin.org on August 18th 2008.
This is not the final version of the song. We're releasing this demo version on DTube to see if people like it and because we strongly support the decentralized movement. Once we have recorded and mixed the final version we'll do a proper video which we will release on DTube. We are also exploring and searching for other decentralized blockchain based platforms to release music and video content on exclusively. We put a snippet of the song on Youtube so DTube is the only place to hear the song in it's entirety.
We've been telling friends in the music business we need to create a decentralized platform for professional musicians to distribute their content without selling their souls, giving up ownership or giving up their rights. I'm hoping this DTube experiment works because if it does we won't have to create our own platform. We can use DTube. The music business is a small community so once the word gets out expect DTube to grow exponentially really quickly. To the creators of DTube... Great work guys.
