What is Ark (ARK)? Ark is a unique crypto-currency that is taking a jack-of-all-trades approach to block-chain technology. This means that they are trying to make block-chain easier to use by packaging all the services you might need into one project. Similar to how web-design sites like squarespace make it easy for people to build websites; ark is trying to make it easier for businesses and everyday people to build block-chain services. If ark is successful in their mission, you will be able to create your own cryptocurrency with the point-and-click of a mouse.
One specific feature of ark that is really interesting is a feature called "SmartBridges". SmartBridges are somewhat revolutionary for the amount of traffic that they could generate for the ark block-chain. SmartBridges add a massive value proposition to the ark block-chain because they allow people to send ark and automatically convert it into other major cryptocurrencies. This means that if you send ark to someone it will automatically be converted into another major cryptocurrency of your choice. If you want to send someone 100 dollars worth of ethereum, you could just send them 100 dollars worth of ark and it would automatically be converted into ethereum before it hits their wallet. Pretty cool right?
Ark currently supports SmartBridges for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Lisk, but is working on integrating many more cryptocurrencies in the future. Ark also has many other features in the works such as a physical card system for payments and a peer-to-peer system of app development. With this system of app development the amount of different use-cases for the ark block-chain is limitless. For these reasons ark has been a great investment since its launch in early 2017. Since its release, ark has been steadily rising in value and will probably continue to rise in 2018.
Since there are still many apps being developed on the ark block-chain and many features yet to be implemented, I would consider ark to be a long-term investment. Ark is also a great investment because it is a solid project that is backed by a team of amazing developers, some of which came from the Lisk development team. Ark is one of the best cryptocurrencies in the space, but it doesn't get much attention because the team hasn't done much marketing. If the ark team is successful in their mission, then they will be the main hub for all users of block-chain technology, and it will be one of the most valuable players in the cryptocurrency space. Consider buying ark now since the price has recently come down from its all-time highs.
