Honestly - at what point is it appropriate to call people who continue to support a string of the most obvious bullshit, stupid?
In the last two years or so, there's been a subsection of the community who have consistently demonstrated a complete lack of logical reasoning skills. It's just becoming more and more absurd as time goes on.
The fact that Craig Wright is still scamming and being supported by people long after he was revealed to be a complete fraud is just alarming.
What do you even do when the community contains a substantial number of people who can't deduce truth from fiction? The fact that these people end up sapping millions of dollars of man hours from smart people who are otherwise trying to build world changing things on top of Bitcoin makes the situation not something that should just be laughed off imo.
Is this it? Are we going to be stuck in a war of attrition now forever because certain people like Roger Ver(the shining example of what I'm talking about) have presumably gotten wealthy enough through Bitcoin that they can continue funding stupidity indefinitely? I can't be the only one that's getting sick of this stuff becoming a permanent fixture in Bitcoin.
