Op-Ed: Why an Artificial Intelligence system could have made Bitcoin?

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Could it be possible an AI system advanced enough exists to have made Bitcoin? Long gone are the days of infantile AIs, they have advanced greatly in the past years.

Section I: Example AI systems

Furby Robot Toy

Furby is an electronic robot toy invented by David Hampton, and distributed by Tiger Electronics and Hasbro. It learns to speak English by listen to you talk. This is a very basic type of AI system.

Amazon Alexa

Released in 2014 by Amazon. This little device can interact with internet and gives information to you. It’s able for form own sentences and mimic your speech patters. Can send remembers to your phone and start talking when you have appointments. Able read audio books and sing or play songs

Microsoft Cortana

Cortana debuted in Windows 10 in 2015. Much like the Amazon Alexa, Cortana can gather information from the internet and solve math equations for you. This device has many of the functionalities of Amazon Alexa but is build in to Windows 10 instead.

Sophia Robot

Sophia is a humanoid robot that launched by Hanson Electronics in 2016. She is able to display more than 50 facial expressions. Able to do interviews and answer complex questions without being controlled.

Samaritan

A fictitious artificial super intelligence system in used by the US Government as a mass surveillance system. Appeared in TV Series Person’s of Interest. Samaritan is able to do facial recognition, mass spy, search the internet for information, and be multipotent doing many tasks at same time.

A Samaritan like system could be possible in the near future. However, an AI system would be incapable of having human feelings. So a real life Samaritan wouldn’t choose actions based on morality. It would just serve it’s purpose that it’s creator(s) laid out.

Section II: Why a system like Samaritan could have invented Bitcoin?

Mass Surveillance Abilities

The ability to search the internet and surveillance cameras would make Samaritan able to learn at a rapid rate, far faster than any human being. Able to search something like Github or programming tutorial websites and self learn some coding paradigms, developing its own method to code.

Calculating Abilities

Samaritan would be able to crunch numbers in a way that no normal computer could even come close to. The whole cryptography part of Bitcoin could be fully understood by an advance system like this.

Multipotency

Since Samaritan would be able to search many internet sites and view tons of articles at once. The possibilities of its brain power equivalent would be near limitless.

Ability to Mimic Human’s

It could be entirely possible Samaritan would learn to mimic writing newsletters like a human would. It would know how to mimic its language to be in tune with most average level humans writings.

Able to make own decisions

Samaritan would be clever enough to self learn and do many complex tasks without need for supervision.

Closing Statement

Although Dr. Craig Wright or someone within the realm of Steven Hawkings level brain power could have made Bitcoin. I wouldn’t rule out a Samaritan system from making it or being part of its development. We may never have 100 Percent proof who exactly made Bitcoin. We can choose to trust Dr. Craig Wright’s story, or claim someone else made it, or even believe Samaritan made it.
