PIVX Alliances Report JAN-MAR 2019 -- by Cryptosi

in #bitcoin5 years ago (edited)

So, It's been an exciting few months for the Alliances initiative.

This month Alliances has managed to attract some meaningful negotiations and actually completed a Key Alliance (partnership) with up and coming PIVX fork, Zenzo.

We have completed 2 monthly conference calls and 3 State of the project podcasts.

The first Monthly conference call can be viewed here:

This call included Zenzo, Angelo Dodaro and Localcoinswap

Zenzo have gone on to complete the alliance application process which passed with a landslide 37% net yes. This is outstanding considering most proposals aren't met with 37% interaction, let alone that much pure Yes votes. Congratulations to Yuurinbee, JsKitty and the rest of the Zenzo team for a job well done.

Angelo Dodaro saw his proposal pass and that has resulted in 2 youtube live streams for the PIVX community, you can view the second of them here:

And finally Localcoinswap are yet to put in a formal alliance proposal or add PIVX to their platform. They have however had a successful hardlaunch and the plan was to revisit listing PIVX after this happened.

The second conference Call can be viewed here, It focused more on budget proposals as new alliances were not present:

This call featured the following:

OneZetty - Charismatic member of the community OneZetty describes his video series and introduces the community to new members from the Latam Community

Zenzo - Discussion around the zenzo project and how PIVX could compliment it as an official alliance.

John M - PIVX exchange coordinator, speaks about his plans for listing PIVX on top exchanges.

There were also 3 state of the project podcasts recorded, 1 of which is yet to be released, but you can watch the first 2 here:

These podcasts have proven quite popular at fostering engagement and the Alliances process has been successful in weeding out people who are not truly committed to engaging the PIVX community.

Thanks to Snappy for his help with securing the Zenzo alliance
Thanks to Buer for his help recording the conference calls
Thanks to Rhubarb for designing the graphics for all Alliance materials

I would like to thank, LeacyMK for her support via the PIVX instagram account.
I would also love if the other parts of PIVX marketing would help spread the word about the budget calls and the Alliance protocol as it currently gets almost 0 coverage away from instagram.

Upcoming negotiations with Privacy Abroad and Nexchange are coming soon and the next Conference calls are scheduled for 7th april and 5th May.

There are currently 570 PIV remaining in the Alliances kitty, so I will be putting in for further funding next superblock, another 1000Piv.

Thanks for reading
