This has been a crazy week and with energy prices rising, who knows where we will be in another week. I don't even know where to begin, so lets just take a look at BitcoinTicker.co as usual.

This hour, BTC is up +0.25% to $67,448 USD

It has been 4 days since my last Bitcoin price update, and Bitcoin is Down. The past 3 months don't look much better, down -26.71%, a deep discount price on Scarcity! This is Energy.

In my new Bitcoin, Gold, Silver, Oil prices series I noted the Energy of a Barrel of Oil, being 1700 kWh of Energy. Right now, it takes about 1.1 GWh per block or 647 barrels of oil. Energy consumption has become a real subject of interest for me as I have been paying my electricity bill and every month they roll the dice on 21 different variables. Already the price of Oil has risen over 100 USD so people are preparing for the higher prices at the pump.
