I recently sold some bitcoin at these new high prices to balance my portfolio into silver... then I realized, dammmmmn this is sloooooow. I did this yesterday, trying to get to bed but also get a nice trade in (selling a bitcoin into silver)... Today, I was thinking about the upcoming fork and how significant it is... I realize that previous forks were minor and offshoots of the real bitcoin... this one I worry will be significant and may create a great amount of uncertainty... Then I realized, why am I holding on to this stuff?... It doesn't give me the drive it once did, sure I know it will be kick ass in the future and will eventually supplant Gold... I'm just really disappointed with it in the interim and have decided to sit out this next fork until the dust settles ... then I was thinking, what if that's what happens... as the old becomes the new, a transition... uncertainty, doubt ... this all effects price temporarily... Although my price objective is long-term.... if the price drops, where is that money going to move to?... Alts? --- so yea, I'm just going to sell my bitcoin for now and maybe buy back later --- for now, buy some more silver and EOS. How are people still using bitcoin??? its been almost an hour with priority fee transaction and still nothing ... EOS --- microsecond and free transactions.... i would really like to go to sleep... Ok over an hour now... WHY GOD?! ... ok 3 hours later... 1am --- Done with Bitcoin for now... good night.
