Dether is thrilled to announce its partnership with AirSwap, the decentralized trading network. Our teams have been working together for the past few weeks in order to make it easy for anyone to access the DTH and ERC20 tokens.
AirSwap and Dether together for decentralization
Dether is a decentralized, crypto-to-fiat marketplace, that allows anyone to buy and sell cryptocurrency for cash. A Shared Vision for Decentralization
1/ From fiat currency to ERC20 Tokens using the Dether appOnce integrated into the app, AirSwap will allow users to easily access ETH, DTH, DAI stable token, and other ERC20 tokens. We’ll have some exciting details about this in the upcoming weeks, so be sure to watch this space!
As a consequence, Dether users will have the opportunity to become ERC20 Tokens ATMs using their phone.
2/ Having easy access to DTH tokens on Dether’s websiteUsers will also be able to access DTH via an AirSwap widget on the Dether website. Here’s how:
- Navigate to the Dether website.
- Make sure that your wallet is funded with Ethereum or Ethereum tokens. (You can learn more about Ethereum tokens here.)
- Click “Buy DTH” at the top of the Dether homepage, and the AirSwap widget will appear on your screen.
- Next, input the amount of the token you want to buy, then click “Find Sellers.”
- AirSwap will display the best price available on the marketplace. You can view all of the prices for that token by selecting “See All Results.” You can also check the price of that token on Coinmarketcap by selecting “Check.”
- AirSwap automatically optimizes your gas prices. If you would like to adjust these manually, select “Change.”
- Once you are satisfied with your selection, click the “Buy” button. Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Approve and sign your transaction to complete the trade.
- The trade will now begin to execute. The AirSwap widget will display the estimated time for the trade to complete, the amount of time elapsed, and a link to the trade details on Etherscan.
- Once the trade is complete, the widget will confirm the swap. Click “Finish” to close the widget or “Change Search” to search the marketplace again.
Users can also buy and sell the DTH token from the AirSwap website, which currently offers the ability to buy and sell 65 tokens using three different wallets: MetaMask, Ledger and Trezor.
Why it matters
Both AirSwap and Dether believe that decentralization is at the heart of blockchain technology, and that the way we buy, sell, store, and exchange our tokens should reflect that.
