when I talk with my friends about different topics its always interesting to listen to their point of view and rethink the ideas I have about our world. So I thought I want to transport this also to this plattform..
In a talk with one of my friends, he pointed out an article about the forcast of Ronnie Moas from Standpoint Research, who assumes that Bitcoin could easily be worth in the next decade between 25,000 and 50,000 dollars.
“While it is probable that the price may break in the near future as a result of profit-taking effects from speculators, this currency has enormous potential in the longer term. At the current price for bitcoins the maximum volume would reach 40 billion dollars, that of Ethereum at 20 billion dollars....”
For the researcher that means, this is a very small maximum volume compared to gold (currently around eight trillion dollars) or even shares and cash (around 80 trillion dollars) worldwide. That is also why he sees enormous potential.
“If you have gold at home, you might also be interested in bitcoins and see how the value changes every day. And with a limit of 21 million Bitscoins, the whole world would struggle to get some of it.”

Is is that easy ? How about trust and acceptance ( especially accepting the currency in daily life envoirements ), the transfer time problems and even more – other players with their own interests could acting against the currency. However I personally believe in an increase of bitcoin value In longterm, but I don’t believe in researchers or analysts :)..LOL
What do you think about ? Will Bitcoin soon break the $ 5,000 mark and if yes, when ??

Once scaling issue is resolved, or even some progress happens BTC will easily double. But before breaking 3k resistance I expect at least one UASF panic sell around one of the relevant dates.
