In a recent announcement, France revealed the launch of Blockchain's first startup accelerator, positioning Paris as one of the most important development and launch capitals of ICOs (Initial Offers in Cryptocurrencies) currently most important.

As reported by the Finance Magnates, this 'Chain Accelerator' consists of a scheme that integrates more than 30 cryptocurrencies, companies and professionals, with the aim of offering advice to startups focused on developments supported by the distributed ledger and intended to promote ICOs.

It should be noted that the project will integrate the participation of relevant figures in the financial scenario, such as the CEO of GateCoin, Aurelien Menant, the head of digital innovations at HSBC, Diana Biggs, and the former CEO of SWIFT, Leonard Schrank.

In a comment to the media, co-founder Nicolas Cantu explained the following:

At a time when the president and the government want to make Paris the capital of the ICOs, Chain Accelerator is positioning itself as a key player in establishing a global and operational network in Paris, bringing together the best talent, expanding the circle of collaborators and prepare for interruptions to help blockchain projects develop protocols in all market sectors of the region and Europe.

For its part, we must clarify that the French government has maintained a positive stance in terms of the developments of new technologies, especially those supported by the Blockchain. In this regard, the Minister of Economy, Bruno Le Maire, commented that:

A revolution is underway, of which Bitcoin was only the precursor. The Blockchain will offer unprecedented opportunities for our startups. I was a neophyte a year ago, but now I'm passionate. Let's demonstrate a lot of pedagogy with our fellow citizens to make France the first place in the chain of blocks and the innovation of cryptoactives in Europe.

So far, this launch is one of the most important events in the country around decentralized technology and many experts and government officials believe it will be the starting point to turn France into a paradise for Blockchain initiatives and trade with digital coins.
