Thanks for the review. Now I don't need to watch, although I agree it would be good entertainment. If any normies believe this story, I'll point out that HBO also airs documentaries about Bigfoot.
You're right, it's so annoying to see some people on Twitter still adding circumstantial evidence - like how Satoshi's posting times would fit a Canadian college student, as if there weren't millions of people in the same time zone.
In particular, I hate that body language is seen as proof. An autistic man will be executed in Texas next week, because he didn't show emotion about his daughter's death. What Adam was worried about was Peter's habit to joke about being Satoshi in the style of "I am Spartacus!" They're friends and allies, but there must be a reason why Adam never hired Peter at Blockstream. He's a loose cannon.
At this point it may even by difficult for anybody to prove they would be Satoshi.
Yes, even owning Satoshi's private keys wouldn't be sufficient evidence at this point. They could have been stolen, or inherited. One of his email addresses was hacked years ago. We'd also need some information about how he created Bitcoin.
Please allow me to gloat a little: I correctly predicted that Hoback's research skills would be lacking (I was still disappointed though), that the participants didn't sign up for a movie about finding Satoshi, that there would be no undeniable proof, and that the only plausible bets on Polymarket would be Other or Adam Back (made a few bucks on that). I added some comments about who Peter Todd is.
Yes, I can see how Adam and Peter have two opposite personalities. That is a good explanation why Peter never joined Blockstream. Interesting.
