Huobi exchange published a report where over 70% of investors predict the expansion of the crypto market cap by more than one third this year.
The report also points out a recent "shift from consensus on peer to peer cash like Bitcoin to consensus on smart contracts."
The crypto market, they say, is going to expand by penetration of crypto into traditional finance, by blockchain use cases, and by internet app acquisition through cryptocurrencies - with the investors' average age increase and more female investors being potentially attracted to the sphere.
Finder, an Australian news outlet, predicts the rise of altcoins, largely depressed in Q1 2018.
They stick to BTC's price prediction of $15,372 by the end of the year, but they also see Cardano and EOS as the biggest winners, jumping by 250 to 300% respectively, and TRON skyrocketing by 342%.
