This might cheer you up a little. Right now the daily Bitcoin volume (On Bitstamp) is the third highest ever when Bitcoin has been above $1000 AND we have 8 more hours to go. This could very well be the day with the highest volume and it is also a green day, Bitcoin is up 7,5% right now.
Whats even better is that the highest volume day ever over $1000 occured on September 15, 2017 and that was the day when Bitcoin bottomed at $3000 and we had a pretty good run after that, remember the run-up to $20000, anyone?

Comment: Look at the left speech bubble and compare to the latest candlestick today which is about to form a bullish hammer.
Now, this is not a guarantee that we will bottom here, but it is a good sign if any.

I agree with you, BTC also currently forms a figure "hammer", with a tail below the lower border of the channel. So yes, it can be a pivot point. But it's better not to rush and buy by parts.

This is helpful. I'm expecting there to be significant volatility in crypto over the next month or so at least, so folks should hold on tight. Cooler minds seem to be prevailing across all markets at the moment though (finally); if anything, some investors may come to see crypto as a nice alternative to equities
