Most of us didn't understand it when we go to to it either. Same with Steemit 😊 Get a wallet, I suggest Jaxx. U can download it right from your phone in the app section. Then sign up to a cryto exchange. They sell them. You're in Canada so u can google what ones are available? I signed up with Canadianbitcoins, it's based in Ottawa. There's another big one in Quebec but I forget it's name now? U can buy a few dollars worth and boom you're in. It's great to learn more about the technology but it's not any scarier than online banking or making purchases online with your credit card once your set up. Setting up the wallet is simple it's the verification process to sign-up with the crytpt exchanges that can take a couple days. U need to give them a few pieces of id and your Bank info. You're gonna need to do this once u get rich from Steemit and want to cash out some of your Steem dollars. Cheers and good luck
